María Isabel Oreja, director of the Sagrada Familia School, expressed her satisfaction with this award in the radio program "The Mirror of the Diocese" "we understand that it is a public thanks to our work, to the work that is done every day in school and To the effort and dedication of many people "The award also acquires a symbolic character in this year in which the educational center commemorates its centenary. "The fact that we are granted this pemium at this moment is an incentive to continue working."
The Sagrada Familia School is a Catholic center and belongs to the Servants of San José with a very defined character. "Its most characteristic aspect is the family environment and the intention that all teachers have to attend to each child in a special way. We insist on the effort of the work of each day ", affirms its director.
This College has been operating since 1917 in a historic building on Calle Marquesa de Almarza. For 100 years, it has maintained the concept of a school conceived as a Workshop of Nazareth, whose main mission continues to be the formation, promotion and education of the working world from evangelical co-ordinates, vision of the future and openness to innovation.
The Center currently has 617 students and its educational offer is focused on the consistency between experience and innovation, ranging from playroom, children, primary and compulsory secondary.
